After designing and addressing my own wedding invitations in 1990, I was encouraged to offer my calligraphy services to others. My business grew when I made the decision to stop teaching full-time to stay home with my young children.

Just like the children that I taught, I always saved scraps of ribbon, paper, lace, and other odds and ends. Inspired by my students' spontaneous artwork, I began creating collage designs for greeting cards and adding favorite quotes in calligraphy. The cards have been sold in shops in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. I also create, exhibit and sell torn paper watercolor collages and acrylic paintings that incorporate stitching and collage.

I enjoy helping to make the celebration of a new baby, a new marriage, or any event more special with unique calligraphy and collage artwork.
